What’s involved in Indie Artist Consultation

• Critique and evaluation of first single (and other songs)
• Critique and evaluation of current state of your music career
• Critique and evaluation of your brand (image, merchandise, name, etc)
• Critique and evaluation of web (website, Myspace, purevolume.etc)
• Help to define your vision as an artist, your business model, etc.
• Industry advice, tips, suggested reading, etc. to become a successful artist

Rates & Terms

$150 for one time critique
• Covert has the right to take on or pass, taking in to consideration Covert's current workload, belief in the artist/project, etc.

Experience

• 13 years experience at every level and side of the music industry.


• 10 years at Gotee Records/EMI

Worked in every area of artist development, with the last several years as Label Manager, heading up careers for such artists as Relient K, Grits, Johnny Q Public, Jennifer Knapp, Sonicflood, & LA Symphony.

• 1 year at Relevant Media Group

Brand manager for music...consulted on all music endeavors, content for magazine, etc.

• 2 years at Covert Management

Overseeing careers and signing of such artists as Inhale Exhale (Solid State/T&N), LA Symphony (Gotee), Seabird (EMI) and more.

• Indie A&R and consulting for several labels, helping them connect with Indie artists.
